BM Informática, Centro de Estudios S.L. was formed in January 1997 with the purpose of providing computer services primarily on tailored applications. In March 2000, the ELIMCO group acquired the company and contracted personnel from major multinational companies to push the company forward, into broader markets.
In April 2000, BM participated in the creation of an eCommerce company, called SUM ON-LINE S.A., as shareholders with 30% of the capital. In the year 2000, it started to collaborate with Telefónica Sistemas, a system development and integration company of Telefónica (the main communication operator in Spain) participating as an authorised supplier. It is also collaborating with other subsidiary system firms of Abengoa, one of the most important Spanish industrial groups. Being these firms important suppliers of integrated complex systems, they require the development capabilities that include embedded systems, opportunities that our firm targets. Currently, BM provides these firms with full development support. Therefore, the topics addressed in the programme are of special interest reinforced by the own initiatives in the development of products addressing home/land-watering automation that will be used for the experimental requirements gathering activities.
BM has always strived to invest in human and technical resources, because they are aware how important these factors are in the improvement of the quality of its products and services.
