The company CYBERTRON Gesellschaft für Elektronik and Prozeßautomation mbH was founded in 1983 in Berlin. The main business field is the development, manufacture and distribution of linear axis systems, portal robots and control systems. In addition to these automation components CYBERTRON offers customised developments in the area of precision robotics, control engineering and software up to turnkey installations.
The main applications are for example positioning equipment and pick and place systems in electronics products assembling. Customised solutions for pipetting and dosing tasks using samples in pharmaceutical and medical research as well as in the sectors of genetic and biological technology were developed.
The product program of the enterprise is subdivided into three areas:
Standard
Products such as linear axis, portal robots and control systems are grouped
into the area of "standards" and are offered as catalogue commodities.
Specials
"Specials" are customised variants of the standards always based
on proven components. In this way CYBERTRON meets the latent demand of many
customers to integrate proven standard products that have been modified into
the own given construction environment. This way the benefits for the customer
are very high since their existing constructions and devices at do not have
to be changed by CYBERTRON positioning systems integration. Based on the application
of existing own modern manufacturing equipment as well as the use of modular
nature of equipment even a small scale series products are successfully offered
to the market..
Systems
The products listed under the term "systems" are predominantly prefabricated
portal robots completed with control devices, machine safety parts and software
which are likewise manufactured as small scale series products. The standardised
machines high attractivity for customers lies in the fact that special machine
manufacturers only have to complete such system with a few components (cameras,
grip arms, dispensers etc.). It allows them to complete the whole customised
equipment function very fast and to sell it as its own product.
