Software technology has become a key strategy area to provide tomorrows solutions in computer systems business areas. Telvent Interactiva provides the technological support to lead the Telvent group roadmap from middleware to Internet embedded solutions.
Telvent has created two software competence centres focusing on Java and Wireless solutions.The Wireless Competency Centre (WCC) was created to build Telvent´s expertise in wireless applications and development solutions for mobile payment methods, mobile positioning, Bluetooth applications and WML servers. The application of this technology is supported by projects targeting portal based services subscribers, professionals, operators and service providers in the application categories of customer information systems, fleet management, network planning, traffic co-ordination, and billing for energy, environment, traffic, transportation and telecom customers.
On going projects in these environments range from mobile maintenance systems to home automation embedded solutions including the billing phase.
Description of Experience in Software Engineering
The team participating in the project will have the profile of Engineer in Computer Science with wide knowledge in analysis, design and implementation phases in the software life-cycle. They have also knowledge in UML and OCL notations and experience as users of CASE tools.
In addition to the experience in the technology required for the JavaCard Api 2.x, Opencard Framework 1.2 y PCSC they also have knowledge and experience in Métrica v.3 (Spanish development Standard for Information Technology systems) and other methodologies for Requirements Engineering.
